You can actually ski down to about 1400mh in all expos, with a lot of caution in northern expos even below 1000mh. In the last few days there seems to have been about 10cm of new snow, which wasn't quite as windblown as the snow from last weekend.
Snow quality
The top layer was damp today, still soft and not bad to ride on, but from midday in the sun it was braking snow. Very difficult to say whether it will freeze hard or remain soft before tomorrow's fresh snow.
Risks
Meanwhile, everything looks pretty well set. LLB level 1 (bavaria), 2 (salzburg). i tend (without false patriotism) more towards the former interpretation for the Chiemgauer (was right in the border area and not traveling very high).
Overall impression
I set off on this little hangover tour with very low expectations, primarily to see if and how much base was available for the coming fresh snow, and in the end I even had a bit of fun. And yes, one or two slopes (even in the forest) have great potential for Sunday! Unfortunately, there probably won't be enough in these areas...
