Overall impression
Snow condition
Below 2,000m it is very thin. Southern slopes are sometimes completely without snow. North-facing slopes are much better and usually still easy to ski up to approx. 1,600m.
Snow quality
It has been very warm and accordingly the snow was wet and heavy on the south-facing slopes. On the northern slope I found a bit better snow with about 10cm of drift snow on a different hard crust.
Risks
No activity seen. Some drift snow packs found but an eye rather for wet snow avalanches.
Overall impression
Well, it was definitely better than sitting at home and complaining. It wasn't good, but the snow was soft and the weather was ok. At least it was warm and a bit sunny on Saturday. The conditions are probably comparable to (late) April.
