Snow report Salzburger Land North, 01/18/2015
wuuuuuhaaa! 2 years the tour is already on my list, today the conditions were perfect! Alpgartenrinne, Lattengebirge!

We had to carry the skis up to about 1000m. From then on there was a base of old snow. But you have to watch out for a few stones everywhere.
Snow quality
Top! at 1000m about 10 cm and at 1600 about 20-25 cm of powder on a hard base! Cold and dusty just the way you like it!
Risks
Optimal today! In Bavaria below 1800m it is currently LWS 1. The fresh snow has combined perfectly with the old snow. No wind influence.
Overall impression
A brilliant tour! especially when you can enjoy the sun in a short shirt after 4 hours of shady ascent. I really don't know why everyone thinks Mondays are so bad ;-)
