Snow condition

The snow conditions are good in the north-facing sheltered forest. We were out and about today, except for a few meters in the pure northern sector. Visually, the high altitudes don't look so inviting and particularly wind-exposed areas are already pitting a little on the high alpine south side.

Beautiful set powder on our tour today! On the few meters in the sun in the morning there was a stable cover, which dissolved over the course of the day.

Risks

Very relaxed here today. We were only below the tree line. We could see a small sliding snow slide on a south-facing opposite slope.

Overall impression

Started without great expectations and still got good snow! Slowly but surely, supplies could be coming, as it's becoming increasingly difficult to find untracked slopes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
