Snow condition
Must take back the 3 * from the day before yesterday. There's still something missing at lower altitudes, especially in the forest. From 1000m upwards it looks ok in the smoother terrain. Only a few centimetres of fresh snow were forecast today, which is a shame, but you could get used to it. The higher elevations look very bad from a distance.
Snow quality
Pretty cool. The powder is a bit more settled and slightly warmed up in the morning, which makes it more compact overall. But it's great to ride. The further down you get, the wetter it gets, it's been raining since midday.
Risks
Wet snow is definitely an issue at lower and middle altitudes! It was still relatively relaxed this morning, but I was only out and about in defensive terrain. The next few days will be tricky.
Overall impression
Nice Bus2Ride descent, just a shame that it was so short. The powder was still great in the mornings at mid-altitude levels.
Unfortunately a bit too little or too flat at the bottom.
I'm excited to see how it develops further, but the Pow Days are over for now, at least at lower altitudes.
