Snow condition
Bad, very little snow overall. On the alpine meadows between 1700 and approx. 1400 m, the layer of old snow is relatively compact and you can let it run a bit, but above and below that it is very poor. Ground contact is guaranteed.
Snow quality
The fresh snow has warmed up, but is quite good. It's not deep anywhere, but in combination with the hard and compact layer of old snow, it's nice and fast. Unfortunately, just not enough overall.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Manageable hazard situation in the area where I was out and about. The snow cover is quite compact, the little fresh snow is warm and settled. There is danger from rocks, stones, etc.
Overall impression
Nice tour with a bit of fresh snow and beautiful views. Despite the not-so-early start, I had the slope all to myself, people only came up on the descent. Now it's unfortunately getting warmer again. We really need snow, the conditions are really sad. Nevertheless, I had fun today. At least something is going reasonably well... :)
