Snow condition
Still very schizo: it's really bad at the bottom, you can't ski down into the valley anywhere and have to carry more or less far everywhere. On the south side, it's partly partly snow-free up to 1500-1600 m. In the forest, you also have to be careful on the shaded side at medium altitudes, but from 1500-1600 m it's really fat and above average in some areas. If there was no wind.
Snow quality
Actually quite ok. Quite a soft top in the middle forest, was easy to ride. Further up it was a bit tougher in places, but still ok. At the bottom it was rutted, but grippy. 2,5*
Risks
On this tour, the snow cover is very heavily processed by heat, wind and rain. Further down there is simply not enough snow, but the frost that has formed in some places can become problematic after the next snowfall.
Overall impression
Beautiful, calm day with much better visibility than expected and it was also quite easy to ride.
Also not very busy.
I was expecting a bit more of a winter feeling, but the temperatures didn't play ball. In the morning, the 0° limit was around 1500-1600m. In any case, the crested tit and co. did quite well ;)
