It's bad on the south side at the bottom, in many places it's no longer enough, and today it was also borderline in the steeper north-facing forest belt. Nevertheless, you can usually still ski down into the valley quite well.
Snow quality
Powder on the shaded side above approx. 1900m. Below that, at the same expo, there is often crushed snow, and on the south side in the steep terrain there is often quite good, softened cover. In the lower forest areas it alternates between crushed snow and very hard passages, especially where it is rutted.
Risks
Moderate to low, very hard in the lower areas, settled or covered. On steep south-facing slopes, you should pay attention to the diurnal cycle; the powder in the higher elevations is settled and lies on a partly soft, partly capped base.
Overall impression
Beautiful day with unexpectedly good weather (until the early afternoon) and beautiful visibility.We actually found some very nice snow at the top, but you need to be above 2000m above sea level to have fun. Today, however, we found very well-filled gullies and hollows.
