Never seen so much snow in our living room. New lines are created by the unbelievable depth of snow and finding the path is more difficult as it is no longer as obvious as usual. Entire fallen trees have disappeared and you pass path markings on trees above rather than below.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Between 10cm to almost 30cm of loose pow on a damp base resulted in almost faceshots here and there.

Risks

Heard noises of departures from higher areas, but saw nothing. The connection between old and fresh snow was ok, with some sluff and drift snow here and there.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Rather good and better than expected. I was most blown away by the overall snow depth as we hadn't been there since the Monster Dump. The only small downer was a lot of small hard nodules that fell from the trees during the warm phase and spread all over the wooded area.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
