Nice set powder, approx. 20-30cm, still very loose and dusts well
Risks
Relatively relaxed below the tree line, where we were moving. Good binding, no fresh avalanches observed. An old small self-trigger from a NE slope, about 35+ degrees. Hoarfrost with 1-2cm could become a problem with the next snowfall.
Overall impression
Super! Only saw 2 other people, great snow, top snow conditions, you can leave the gas on and ride at full pressure, it's just fun! Very cold in the morning, no wind, only high cloud cover. Around noon, the wind freshened from the south, above the tree line it was rather brisk/strong, at the tree line only gusts.
