Snow condition

Same picture this winter: Really good at the top and you can just about get into the valley on the snow side on open tracks or good paths. Nothing works in the forest below, mega in the upper larch forest.

Snow quality

At the very top, the wind was a bit strong, but it was still very good to ride. In the wind-calmed high altitudes and in the sparse high-altitude forest it's insanely good: fine, cold blower, about 20cm. From about 1400m, the partly crusty, partly brittle old snow cover comes through more and more. Still ok, but often hard.

Low at the bottom. The old snow cover is extremely compact, with fine fresh snow and frost lying unbound above it (which you should certainly keep an eye on in the future). The higher you get, the more wind influence there is, although in my opinion, the amount of snow that was transported was still limited today. Nevertheless, you should keep this in mind.

Overall impression

Super tour at the secret-secret spot with mega-fine snow in places.
However, I started too late, so the light was quite flat on the descent in the open terrain.
Unfortunately, the old snow in the cool pillow part further down was quite hard, so you couldn't hop around so nicely.
The extremely dense forest step and the somewhat obstructed tracks of the previous skiers were also a bit annoying.
