At 1400m to 1800m, it is better to limit yourself to (clear) forest and meadow descents. On the tour today, however, there was only one rock contact at the very bottom on a sunny section that you have to cross. 20 to almost 30 cm of fresh snow at the top, depending on the altitude (more on this below)
Snow quality
The fresh snow fell overnight, it was cool and the trees were almost windless. At 10:00 a.m. you could still call it perfect powder even on south-facing slopes. Later, only on more shaded slopes.
Risks
No danger for me below the tree line, exception: maybe in the afternoon on sunny slopes, but nobody rides there anyway :)
Overall impression
Take: Half a day's time, a small precipitation field between two foehn periods, the valley lift up to the snow line and voila - you're already traipsing up the summit slope of the Dürrnbachhorn a second time because the first virgin line just isn't enough. 4 stars if you hadn't felt the old snow under the powder on the descent. Hopefully the next disturbance tomorrow will be of the same kind.
