Snow condition
The snow cover is excellent, especially on the north side in wind-protected accumulation areas. Only the fog soup forced us into the denser forest today. Even there, everything is skiable without contact with other skiers.
Snow quality
Still quite good on the north side in areas sheltered from the wind. The snow is already well settled, but there is still a good dusting. We were more or less only out and about in the northern sector today. In exposures where the sun reaches, a cover has already formed, ranging from quite thin to a few centimetres.
Risks
Very relaxed today. No danger signs seen. Only a little sluff in the steeper forest. But this was very manageable. Occasionally we came across some surface rime on the ascent (manageable).
Overall impression
Unfortunately, the fog was the fly in the ointment today. Despite our very good knowledge of the terrain, this severely limited our options. But the snow was still good.
