On the south side, the snow cover is already suffering greatly from the warm temperatures (at 1600m approx. 5 degrees at 15:00)! Where the sun can't shine, the snow has held up quite well, but is already damp. All in all, if you choose your tracks wisely and keep your eyes open, you can get to the Halleinerhaus with almost no contact with rocks.
Snow quality
Harsch and crushed harsch in the shade. In the sun, some of the conditions are similar to ski slopes. Where the snow hasn't been packed down yet, it's pretty deep, a real knuckle-breaker in places.
Risks
Very sunny, steep slopes especially in the afternoon meden! Otherwise very relaxed
Overall impression
I would have expected more people and worse conditions! So all in all a successful afternoon!
