Snow condition

Lots of snow, even in the dense forest. Virtually no contact with the enemy.

Snow quality

Just short of 5*. There was a bit of wind inside at times, although it hardly bothered us.

Risks

It wasn't that easy today. You could see the two phases of the last precipitation and the uneven distribution of the snow. This made it difficult to identify dangerous zones. Nevertheless, everything seemed well bonded, no settling noises or cracking. Only in the steeper upper part of an eastern slope did the snow slide off the old hard base. However, the amount and spread was manageable.

Overall impression

5 von 5 Sterne

I had set off much later than planned and didn't have high hopes due to the vacations and crowds of people in the mountains. I was all the more surprised to see a summit that is usually very popular lying completely virgin in front of me. In combination with the weather, this gives it a subjective 5*

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
