Very bad. In the Berchtesgaden basin you can't really ski anywhere down into the valley. Below 1000m it's very thin, above 1200m on the shady side it's at least a bit more white. Yesterday's fresh snow is growing from 2 to approx. 15 cm and the high altitudes look really bad in areas exposed to the wind. It's ok in the light but wind-protected larch forest.

In the larch forest (from 1900m-1500m top, 4*): Settled fresh snow or tension-free drift snow on a compact but not hard layer of old snow. Very quickly wind-influenced above. Dust on crust underneath. (2*)

Risks

Below the tree line a 1 and that fits perfectly. Very compact and set, and further up the wind was already working hard again. If there's anything left on the steep south-facing slopes, that will certainly become an issue.

I thought oops at first today: the parking lot was already full at 8 o'clock in the morning and it took 20 minutes to drag the skis to the start.
But luckily they all went into the cirque (there were probably at least 100 people there today) and it was really cool in the secluded larch forest.
But apart from that, it's sad how little snow there is and it all feels very spring-like. The snow lilies are starting to bloom.
