Snow condition
As the exposure is fully south-facing except for the approach, the snow conditions are accordingly. It's not uncommon to come across loose spots or stones on the backs. But I had no problems thanks to a good choice of tracks.
Snow quality
The snow cover was frozen over throughout and in shady parts it was very strenuous to climb up the icy track. There were many slips and we often went off track. The descent was usually a bit slushy as it started to thaw around midday.
Risks
The avalanche situation is very low today. There are warnings of sliding snow avalanches in the second half of the day. We were able to spot a few fish mouths. The avalanche situation was therefore very relaxed and the steep slope of more than 30 degrees was not a risk.
Overall impression
However, the tour still deserves 2 stars as the views and the weather were very nice.
