Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne

Poor snow conditions in the lower and middle sections. Access by bike, in the forest several times unbuckling necessary. Stone contact unavoidable on the descent. On the last, upper 400 m (1800-2200 m), the snow conditions are reasonably good. Adapt route choice accordingly.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Moderately good conditions can only be found if the route is chosen appropriately and the sunlight/slope gradient and time are taken into account. Alternating between broken harsch and partly nice, soft firn. In the lower area + forest only ice.

Risks

Avalanche danger negligible in most parts of the cirque. On steep eastern slopes, danger of spontaneous wet snow avalanches as the time progresses. I was able to observe one, but on an impassable rock face.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

A beautiful spring tour with ups and downs. Fantastic landscape and weather! Beautiful descent in the upper section, torture in the forest at the bottom. The whole tour is a compromise for a few good turns - if you like it ;-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
