Snow condition
The first time since the beginning of January that I've only awarded 3 stars. But overall, it's already getting noticeably less in the valley and on the lower south-facing slopes. But you can still get all the way down on the shady side everywhere, and there's still a lot of snow on the shady side in the middle areas.
Snow quality
The first 300m (1700-1400m): good, the fresh snow from the night is cold and very fine and covers the hard rain slush that fell yesterday. Unfortunately, the remaining 900 m were a mixture of a lot of ice, buster snow, broken snow and a bit of slush. Ski training snow.
Risks
Today I'm all over the Bavarian LLB, which was a 1 at the bottom and a 2 at the higher elevations. There were strong gusts of wind at the top and a lot of snow was transported, but it was absolutely safe on the shaded side due to the concrete in the lower areas. In the sun, of course, the problem of sliding snow.
Overall impression
Great views and clouds, a few good turns at the top and one of the old classic Berchtesgaden tours, which is hardly used in its lower part - that's a third nostalgia star.
Unfortunately, the snow was pretty tough from 2/3 of the way down and the route is no longer so easy to ride due to urban sprawl and road construction.
Oh yes, and I missed the bus again...
