Foehn storm, but still quite nice snow...

Overall impression
Snow condition
Very little. In more normal years in April there's a lot more... We had to carry 300-400m today, from 1300m there's a reasonably closed old snow cover, but it's only really compactly closed from about 1500m upwards.
Snow quality
Quite okay. Overall tendency towards 3*. In the higher elevations, windswept snow, pressed powder and small snow packs alternate. From about 1600-1700m there is a short light cover, but ok and then good summer firn at the bottom, all in all quite nice, but not as good as on Wed directly after the snowfall.
Risks
Below the tree line I would only have given it a 1 (according to the LLB 2), very little snow and everything very compact. above that, small-scale changing snow conditions and already a few drifts, but then also often compacted or only slightly thick. I would rate the risk of entrainment higher than the risk of burial, at least on our tour, but there may well be more critical areas at higher altitudes.
Overall impression
Surprisingly nice day with the Berchtsgon crew, the Föhnorkan was actually at the start, but only really blatant at the top, better snow than expected and at the bottom we were able to ski the further variant.
