Well, just like before. You can only ride in the forest from about 1500m.
Snow quality
Mixed. In the higher elevations, sometimes already heavily windswept, but mostly still quite ok. Suddenly changing conditions require concentrated standing on the skis. Top in the wind-protected high-altitude larch forest. Below that, very slow, slushy snow from late morning.
Risks
According to LLB Bayern, it was a 3 in the higher elevations, and there was also really massive drifting. However, our slope was very heterogeneous on a small scale (old slopes, traces from yesterday, unbound fresh snow, etc.) and nothing could be triggered in the sliding block test.
Overall impression
Still fit. An early start allowed us to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately it was a bit windy at the top, but pretty good in the middle section. Very strenuous tracks, let's see how it develops tonight/morning...
