Touren bei Sonne nach Touren im Nordstau
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Same tour as on Thursday. Our old tracks were no longer visible. I think another 20 cm or so had been added. A bit difficult to estimate as the snow has already started to settle. Assessment of the snow conditions as on Thursday, north side hui, the rest naja.
Snow quality
Still very fine. Loose snow, very fast and just not the sinking depths of Thursday due to the settling. No wind influence in the north forest slopes. There will be a crust in the sunny exposures from tomorrow.
Risks
Relaxed on our tour. Very little wind influence and settlement is progressing. In the sunny exposures, self-triggering started in the early morning. Some of the avalanches were quite large! The avalanche in the picture was of a small to medium size. We were able to observe a ski tourer in a steeper southern exposure at around 12 noon, who was walking comfortably, although new self-triggering avalanches were constantly making their way down into the valley. Brave or stupid, everyone has to decide for themselves....
Overall impression
Fine day! Out and about with the boys, blue skies, good snow and no people.
