Good on the shady side and above approx. 1300m. Further up, however, there are also blown-off areas, below that it gets thin, sunny locations are to be avoided far up anyway.
Snow quality
Really good in the wind-protected highlands! Partly fine, cold blowers between 10 and 25 cm deep. Snow packs are also good to ski. The further down you get, the more the very hard old snow cover comes through and the layer of fresh snow decreases. At the bottom in the sun, however, there is also nice, smeary, moist fresh snow. Overall upper 3*.
Risks
A lot has already been transported, but it is easy to recognize, mostly thin and the snow cover changes on a very small scale. The old snow cover is very compact and hard all the way up. In any case, there was no sign of the (2s) deep warming mentioned in the situation report until midday on the shaded side and it was absolutely safe down below.
Overall impression
A great day in a fantastic setting in a supersecret spot. Nice company, not much going on, powder and then the sun came out.
However, it was very warm down there at midday.
