North-facing and sheltered from the wind, still top snow to be found - a wonderful end to a multi-day tour odyssey...

It's okay at the top, but of course still below average for this time of year, but you can ski down into the higher valleys. Some of the snow holes and blown-in gullies are relatively full.

Everything that is protected from the sun and wind is really great. Even at lower altitudes, some of it is still really fine. You should avoid snow in the sun...

Risks

The fresh snow from the day before yesterday and the strong SE wind has produced very easy to trigger snow packs. I think the 2s in the higher elevations are still too low today.

A great end to a fantastically beautiful, varied and also difficult trip through the 'Snowy Sea', today an insane descent, which, however, was bought by a brutal hatscher at the end...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
