Schöne Vormittagsrunde bei aufkommendem Schneefall

Snow condition
There is nowhere to ski down into the valley in the Berchtesgaden basin. But it's been worse. It's ok at the top, even if it's well below average. About 5cm of fresh snow.
Snow quality
Bottom (1-2*): Harsch, broken harsch, hard frozen old tracks and soft tracks alternate in small areas. Concentrated skiing is required above approx. 1600m on the north side (4*!): Wow, didn't expect to find such good snow! Approx. 5cm of fine, fresh snow on deep, soft old snow, which would definitely have paid off for the curvier ladies.
Risks
This could change with increasing wind and the forecast 25 cm, but this fine, pebbly "ball bearing layer" is unpleasant if it is now covered.
Overall impression
Actually great. The viewing window opened briefly for the descent and the snow above 1500-1600m is great on the shaded side. No one around and a few really good turns, let's see how much really comes and what the wind does. I'm looking forward to Friday.
