Snow condition
Overall, the situation above around 1400m is above average for the time of year. In shady, sheltered areas there are still plenty of spring supplies. From the valley, you just have to allow for more or less long carrying distances.
Snow quality
On the way up, I thought to myself, oh dear, it was really slushy from bottom to top. But if you stayed in the sun on the descent, it was really cool - especially at the top where the top was relatively soft anyway. At the bottom, it was icy in the shade and really slowing down in the sun.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Every 5 minutes there was a crash from the steep east walls. Generally speaking, there's still a lot in store for the next few days. Yesterday there were also some smaller wet snow slides from shady areas.
Avalanche activity
Dry loose snow avalanche (small)
Altitude: 2400 m
Overall impression
Unfortunately there was nothing left of last week's fantastic powder. But fortunately the snow in the sun was quite good for skiing, soft broken snow cover where it was warm. Unfortunately, my cell phone went on total strike, it would have been great photo light and with all that snow everything looks great anyway. It's looking very good for spring now. It's amazing how the conditions change: A winter with mercilessly little snow until March and now it's still great!
