Well, quite ok for the end of April. Especially if you think about what it looked like a week ago, you can ski up from about 1100m and ski down to about 1200m. In the forest it's only possible from about 1400m.
Snow quality
I give it 4 stars because it was so good at the top. And I was below 2000m! Sometimes you can feel the old snow layer through, sometimes there were wind-influenced spots, but overall great, and then slow and sticky further down.
Risks
At the bottom there is little snow and the moist fresh snow has bonded well with the equally moist old snow, but the amount of snow and wind influence increases towards the top.
Overall impression
Very nice Sunday. Absolute winter feeling, with big icicles, snow-covered trees and cold. Despite starting late at the end of April, catching great powder on a low mountain is something special, but of course there could be more at the bottom and it was stomping like crazy.
