Beautiful tour with 15 cm of fresh snow

Snow condition
Actually quite ok for the time of year. From 1500 m above sea level it's a good 10 cm fresh, and a bit more above that. You have to be careful further down, as the fresh snow covers stones etc. there.
Snow quality
Really fine! At the top, the powder lies on a sometimes hard, but often grippy base. In the lower layers, it gets a little rougher underneath, but softer overall as it warms up.
Risks
Spontaneous wet snow slides on the south side. Otherwise rather relaxed. The new snow is quite well bonded. At really high altitudes, however, there may also be dry slab problems.
Overall impression
April can go on like this... I hope that there will still be a bit of powder left tomorrow in the high, shady areas. Unfortunately it's very warm today. But I'm sure it'll still be good.
