Long tour in mixed early winter-spring conditions in the BGL - some nice powder still available

Snow condition
There is no more than one star here. You have to carry and cycle far up everywhere. The fresh snow doesn't change the poor conditions below. It still looks ok at the top and it should be fine for a while yet.
Snow quality
Increased wind influence at the very top; strong warming at the bottom today for the first time in days; no longer consistently good snow, but still very nice pow in areas protected from the wind. But I think it was also due to the very exposed tour today.
Risks
Moderate. Very heterogeneous snow cover: in some areas, very small-scale hard, pressed and soft conditions alternate; the powder snow is very settled. In steep, sun-exposed areas, numerous spontaneous loose snow avalanches could be observed today.
Overall impression
Great tour in a wonderful setting. Magnificent views from the Totes Gebirge to Karwendel. Yesterday the snow was much better, but I'm sure that was also due to the tour: north-facing, high and sheltered from the wind, tomorrow will certainly still be great.
