Still good for the time of year. On the north side it starts in good terrain from about 1200m, from about 1400m then also good in the forest, but without a bike or carrying nothing is possible if you have to start further down.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Mixed, but generally quite good, with around 25 cm added at higher altitudes. Partly soft, but partly also wind-treated and lightly capped. At lower altitudes it was soft, but the wet fresh snow was more of a brake. Still quite ok to ski in the steeps.

Risks

The fresh snow is relatively well bonded to the old snow cover and is usually quite settled, but there is a constant crunch from steep, sunlit areas, so you should be on your guard.

Overall impression

Super day with a great team in the cirque. It doesn't happen that often that you can make tracks in fresh snow... :)
Alone at the summit before the crowds arrived was also nice.
First turns all the way down...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
