Well, 25-35cm on a warm meadow, but riding with a shot is fine... (5 cm were added this afternoon)

Pretty good! Towards the bottom it gets heavier and wetter, but overall it's super slushy. Top of the slope is pure powder.
Risks
In the Berchtesgadener Land at 1300m where I was, no problems. But the ground is warm and at least yesterday the fresh snow came with the wind... Lots of broken snow in the forest at lower altitudes.
Overall impression
Yes, first day of the season for me. The sun came out briefly in the afternoon and created a great play of light. And the trees are beautifully covered in white. Please let it go on like this.
