Very little. While there is still hardly anything on the northern edge of the Alps in terrain that is easy on the surface, it is getting increasingly 'better' towards the south in the inner Alps. In total max. approx. 40 cm.

Snow quality

Very fine. Cold powder (approx. 20 cm) that feels fantastic. Just far too little. Sometimes a slightly more compact layer (10-20 cm) underneath, but it doesn't bother much. We want more!

Risks

Less critical because there is simply so little snow. You have to be more careful with stones, branches etc. It is best to stay in the stone-free alpine pasture area or on pistes.

Finally back on skis again! The stoke is always great, even if there's still very little snow, of course.
But the pow was actually really good to ski on.
I was out on stone skis, but I didn't hit anything anyway.
Here's to a good and healthy winter everyone! :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
