Beautiful wintry day with unfortunately too little snow...

It's already getting very tight at lower altitudes. As soon as there's a bit of forest over it, it doesn't work properly even on wide forest tracks. In the higher altitudes, the settling is ok, but nothing works outside of grassy ground.
Snow quality
Still very good. Still light, cold pow due to the cold, sometimes with frost. In the very sunny expos, the snow is already slightly baked, but still good overall.
Risks
Up to 1700m (where I was today) there's actually still too little snow for serious avalanche activity. The rain and the warming could possibly cause something to happen on very steep slopes on slippery ground from tomorrow.
Overall impression
Beautiful, wintry atmosphere in the morning. Good snow quality, but the quantity is lacking. Conclusion: Outside of piste terrain and high alpine meadows, it's just not possible in the region yet. Unfortunately, it's only just getting warmer, so we'll see what the weekend brings, but all in all it could be over for now...
