Snow condition

Really bad. It was already borderline beforehand, but the Föhn storm and the rain afterwards did a great job. There were still a few rideable spots yesterday, but not enough. After today (17th) tomorrow it's over.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Approx. 35% broken snow with hard cover, 35% broken snow with soft cover, 15% hard surface (rain ice crust or wind pressed) and 15% good, soft wet snow.

Risks

Hardly any avalanches possible at medium altitudes as there is no more snow. Heavy avalanches at high altitudes (huge snow plumes on the Göll), but there is also a greater risk of being swept away by snow slabs. The main danger lies with stones, etc. in the terrain.

Too bad it's already over again with skiing in the Berchtesgadener Kessel.
Incidentally, I got a nice dent in the edge of a non-stone ski out of stupidity... :(
At least the view above the cloud cover was nice.
Let's see when the winter continues in the N.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
