Well, the 20 cm of fresh snow doesn't make much difference. In some areas it's now around 40 cm in total, except on relatively stone-free alpine meadows, very clear, grassy forest aisles or pistes. If you dare, you can slide around with stone skis up to 1000m on the shaded side, but it's more sensible above 1300-1400m.

The fresh snow is great, cold, fluffy and is already building up large crystals on the surface. Unfortunately, there's just not enough of it.

Risks

The LLB reports a low danger situation below the tree line and I would agree with that. Hardly any wind signs, except directly on the NW ridge at 1700m. The little concealed obstacles in the terrain and the nasty ice around the snow cannons are problematic...

Well, there were 5.6 nice turns, and the view was nice too.
But I think I'm done with all this screwing around on 30 cm of alpine meadow pow and snow cannon slalom.
I want to ski! :p

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
