Snow condition
About 10 cm of fresh snow came down yesterday. In many places, however, there was no base left. Ground contact is actually unavoidable.
Snow quality
The fresh snow has fallen as nice, light, cold powder. However, it is sometimes very hard underneath, especially when you hit the icy artificial snow of the slopes in the lower part of the tour, and much harder in sunny passages.
Risks
There is still not enough snow for real avalanche problems, but there are stones, etc.
Overall impression
I'm tempted to give it 2 stars because of the sun, the silence, the beautiful view and the nice layer of powder snow. But it's just not enough for that. Too bad, it's not even good enough for skiing... Nevertheless, it was a nice day.
