Snow condition
After it looked pretty good on the Dürrnbachhorn on Friday, I tested Heutal today. From the parking lot at 1000m it's going well, here about 20-30 cm of snow, which is slowly becoming so firm at the bottom that it effectively buffers obstacles. There is still by far the most snow in the middle-altitude forest tracks. Higher up and more exposed, even lovely alpine meadows, which are otherwise covered with a blanket of snow, are blown bare. Most of the mountain pines are still exposed, e.g. Sonntagshorn does not look good yet.
Snow quality
Actually just as good as on Friday. Still cold and, where untracked, wonderful to ride.
Risks
The 1 from the Salzburg and Bavarian situation reports can be confirmed. You can't really make the most of it yet anyway due to the poor snow conditions.
Overall impression
There were a few nice turns again. We were expecting shredded terrain. It definitely felt like high winter in the middle altitudes. It started to snow lightly at midday. Let's hope it stays cold enough here in the east.
