Snow condition
We know that our favorite corner is a snow hole. Nevertheless, I was surprised by the absolute amount of snow. Everything was rideable, no contact with the enemy.
Snow quality
On average about 20cm of nice powder which was also covered in dust. Even in the light forest, the wind was extremely strong and the snow cover was very unevenly distributed. Some open areas were bare, behind them 30+ cm of packed snow.
Risks
Should not be underestimated. We couldn't observe any activity, but an old massive cone from the very warm precipitation phase impressively shows that you should choose your ascent route carefully. Above the tree line, we saw individual cracks and massive wind influence. I wouldn't go there at the moment.
Overall impression
Dream weather with a great play of light in the morning. The powder is still great to ski, but unfortunately the hard crust from the rain under the snow spoils the fun somewhat. You can feel it more or less. Despite the higher temperatures over the next few days, the snow should still hold up well on the north side.
