From 1000m there is about 5-7cm of new snow, upwards it should be about 10 cm, but no more, but due to the very mild weather around the Christmas holidays, there was only a rudimentary base in the middle layers, only flat alpine meadows or on/along the slopes. You can always get through to the ground.
Snow quality
Well, very good. A little less fluffy than last week, but still largely dry above 1200m. There was relatively little wind influence, but if there was more, it would certainly be very good.
Risks
Too little snow in the middle areas, dangers as usual due to stones, etc. The wind has swept down some smaller branches.
Overall impression
I'm tempted to give it a second, very subjective star, but I can't really do that. (Because of the beautiful views, a bit of fresh snow, 2-3 nice turns, a bit of snow on the trees...) The level has been consistently bad since the beginning of November. (Although it was already much better than at the moment!)I'll have a look further east over the next few days...It's not worth it here.
