Significant amounts of fresh snow in the epicenter of the northern congestion

Snow condition
There was about 60 cm+ of fresh snow in the forest in our wind-protected northern reservoir area. As the altitude increased, perhaps the magic meter was reached. We were only in the forest on the north side today (
Snow quality
The fresh snow had already settled a little, i.e. the ultimate sinking depths were not reached, but it was still a treat to glide through the butter-soft powder today (no disturbing base!, no wind influence!).
Risks
It was quite relaxed in the sheltered forest today. The only thing to watch out for was some sluff in the steeper terrain. The fresh snow has bonded well at this altitude. The moderate avalanche level below the tree line issued by the LWD for the northern Alps applied well. Due to the poor visibility, we couldn't see anything of the alpine terrain. Entrances on the lee side, as well as entrances into gullies and hollows above the tree line should be assessed critically.
Overall impression
A really great first day of touring this season in our beloved area. The season can go on like this.
