Snow condition
Well. It's very thin at the bottom. In the forest you can ride up to about 1500, below that there's not much. Above that, we were able to go full throttle without restraint.
Video
Snow quality
All head deep. There were face shots with every turn. The finest powder with no wind influence. Yesterday about 50cm of powder, today a good 60cm. Completely absurd.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
There were no signs of wind, and the ridges were also covered in deep snow. However, our tour was also in the lee of a higher mountain.
Overall impression
Two completely absurd days in the northern Tauern. The weather didn't allow any tours up high, but between 2000 and 1500 there was no limit to the amount of skiing we could do.
