Flat light and good fresh snow in the Goldberg group

Overall impression
Snow condition
The last few days have seen around 30 cm of fresh snow. You can ski down to just under 1000 m. Nevertheless, there is a better base further north. At lower altitudes, you should ease off the gas a little and look ahead. From around 1300 m, the base is great.
Snow quality
Very good! The first few centimetres on the hard surface were a bit wetter and then the snow became lighter and lighter. Perfect, as you don't hit the hard base and still ski in fluffy fresh snow. In wind-protected areas, the fresh snow is unbound.
Risks
We were mainly out and about in the wind-protected high forest due to the flat light. The fresh snow there was unbound and there was hardly any sluff. In the high alpine, the wind freshened up from time to time and certainly transported snow (as I said, we were hardly there). You should definitely keep an eye on the drift snow there.
Overall impression
Fine snow and some good runs, unfortunately the possibilities were limited due to the poor visibility. Nevertheless, another good day.
