I'd like to have a Monday like this more often. Sportgastein much better than expected!

It still doesn't have much more than 3 stars. You can ride everything, but there's not much at the bottom.

On the south side it was really good in the upper third! 15cm on a firmer base, further down it was pretty beaten up...but on the north side it was more like a dream! 20-40 cm of well-set powder and on top of that 15 cm of loose fresh snow. really cool to ride!
Risks
Actually relatively relaxed, a few drifts but nothing major, some sluff. What is nevertheless remarkable: On the ridge of the Ortberg (looking downwards to the right opposite, at the reservoir), quite a plank has come loose along the ridge. The crack is estimated to be 100-150 and about 50 cm thick. Expo: SO For the further development: The snow cover was covered with frost today, which could form a weak layer with the next snowfall.
