Here it is the other way around. You can easily descend as far as the parking lot; it would also be possible to descend as far as the toll station. At the top, it looks more like May than March, even if it will still be a while yet.
Snow quality
Mixed, but basically okay. Depending on the altitude and expo, there was pressed powder, hard, slightly firny and slush, with a few really good turns and, above all, the snow was fast.
Risks
Moderate. Some wet snow slides in low, but steep and sun-exposed terrain.
Overall impression
Beautiful tour to the Hocharn, a technically easy and therefore much frequented 3000-meter peak, but with great summit views and very varied and long downhill variants. Fine!
