Overall impression
Snow condition
Snow conditions are above average!
Snow quality
Not really good... Harsch in the morning, as soon as the sun shines on it the harsch turns into batzy, deep stuff! Only in a few very shady spots at high altitudes were we able to find a little bit of heavily settled powder.
Risks
Watch out! The sunny southern slopes should not be underestimated, as was impressively demonstrated to us once again today: It's rumbling and on the opposite slope you can see a brown mass shooting down the slope! A fairly large plank (estimated at 1.5m at the highest point) has come loose and is rolling as wet snow for about 700m until it comes to a halt in the valley. see photo! Avoid steep, south-facing slopes and do not cross underneath! Later, we come across a freerider with a deployed airbag.
Overall impression
Was a nice day and all in all quite ok!
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
