50 cm fresh snow

Super rideable down to 1600m without any problems!

Powder snow

Up to 50cm new and it keeps on snowing! Very fluffy from 2000m where there was no wind! A bit heavier below 2000! The temperature dropped really low during the snowfall in the morning. That's why you get wet layers of snow below 2000m, which sometimes slow things down a bit.

Risks

Much fresh snow
North

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Very poor visibility above the tree line! Certainly a tense situation due to wind and fresh snow. In the forest between 1600 and 2000m, the fresh snow has bonded well with the warm old snow cover

Overall impression

Better

In April, the winter gives us a second wind and comforts us over the modest season! If it stays reasonably cold after the snowfall, you can make good use of the snow even at higher altitudes!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
