Snow report Salzburger Land Süd, 11/18/2014
Magic Wednesday on the Mölltaler! Champaign Powder with not quite optimal visibility (iD early ok, then you needed patience and luck for a window) and deep winter cold *brrrr*
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Good snow conditions from approx. 2200HM. Stone contact can be avoided. From 2600HM it's already really wintery! Of course it can always be more!
Snow quality
The tendency is towards five stars because it was perfect cold "Champaign Powder" today. I would say about 30 - 40cm. The snow probably fell without much wind influence!
Risks
"Save. I would say 2-3. A small remote release was detected at approx. 2500HM.
Overall impression
Perfect for November, since the view was not quite perfect, there are only 3 stars, because that could be better ;) So 3 stars +++! From 2200HM very good satisfactory snow conditions with hardly any stone contact. Above 2300 super wintry conditions with perfect cold powder that just sprays! In the terrain, everything from approx. 2300 / 2400 vertical meters with avoidable stone contact is great to ski. The entire "valley run" to the middle station still looks rocky in the lower section (wasn't skied). The base is there, now it can snow again :)
