It works. Basically there is enough snow, but as so often, the wind has done an extreme job. In the last phase of the precipitation, the snow fell calmly and covered so many stones, bare spots, etc. With a bit of flair, you can make good fast turns, but always be careful and be prepared for sharks.

Pretty funny. Very light lid approx. 1cm on the surface, approx. 15-20cm powder underneath. The lid is hardly disturbing, it is super fast and also loud when the lid breaks. It was fun to ride.

Risks

Lots of wind, lots to watch out for. As mentioned earlier, many danger spots are covered by the last snow and difficult to recognize. Including massive drift snow packs. One observation near the slope was probably a self-release (see picture). On the south side, there are some smaller drops from rocky terrain down to the bottom.

It was perfect. It was great fun to ride, caught the weather window, don't want to complain.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
