It still looks quite solid on the north side. The ski tour went today without any rock contact. On the sunny side, the snow is getting less and less. The color green now clearly dominates, especially in deep sunny areas.
Snow quality
Extremely different! From a wind cover to a crust of melted snow to set powder snow and a layer of frost, everything was there. The quality can change from turn to turn. Shaded and sheltered from the wind: that's the combination for some fun.
Risks
Quite relaxed on our tour. No signs of avalanche activity. Transitions from little to lots of snow as well as gullies and hollows should be assessed a little more critically.
Overall impression
A leisurely ski tour without a big crowd and a few nice turns in the process. Plus blue skies and humane temperatures at the summit.
