Snow condition
Start at 1000 m possible with quite thin snow cover (approx. 20 cm). Descent to the car via forest paths feasible. From approx. 1500 m there is sufficient snow on the shaded side. The snow depth increases rapidly as the altitude rises. Our two descents (east-facing and north-facing) went without any problems (no contact with the enemy) with an offensive skiing style. Areas exposed to the wind are pretty much free of snow due to the recent storms.
Snow quality
In wind-protected areas, the snow is still excellent. Butter-soft downhill surfing.
Risks
The snow cover has settled very well. Accumulations of drift snow are easy to recognize and you can avoid them accordingly. Transitions from a little to a lot of snow should be viewed very critically, especially in steeper terrain. The issued warning level "moderate" for >1800 m applies.
Overall impression
Another fine day of touring in perfect weather and great snow. Two descents, 2x untracked, what more could you want...
